Welcome to my home page. I am currently looking for applied research or core database engineering positions.
I am working as a Database Researcher at DIMA (TU Berlin). I successfully defended my PhD on the topic of "Continuous Query Optimization in Edge-Cloud Continuum" on 19th August, 2025. Members of evaluation committee were Volker Markl, Vasiliki Kalavri, Tilmann Rabl, and Michel Steuwer. During the conduct of my thesis, I worked on building a robust and scalable optimizer for NebulaStream.
I have spent around ten years working in the industry before starting at TU Berlin. I have completed my M.Sc. in Computer Science focused on distributed systems from TU Kaiserslautern, and I hold an Engineering degree in Information Technology from IP University Delhi.

Experience
Worked on building a new distributed stream processing systems called NebulaStream with research focus on query optimization.
Worked on building data pipelines and realtime passenger load matching algorithm for public mobility domain.
Worked on building datalake for collecting and analyzing large volume of data streams for our adtech product.
Worked on building opensource security framework for cloud storage on top of Hadoop and HBase.
Worked on building automation tools for monitoring and configuration of large scale telecommunication infrastructures.
